I walk in the fog and rain
With my only constants
My four legged friend
And my trusty umbrella
Perhaps I should count
Myself into the mix
I am constant, I even whisper it out loud

To remind myself
I am a constant assortment
Of feelings, and dreams
I am constantly surprising you
Shocking you too
I constantly make you shake your head
Half the time (at least)
You are grateful to share my journey
The other half of the time, I am sure you shake your head
Constantly wondering what you have gotten yourself into!
All I can say at this point, as I walk in the fog and rain
Is that I am and will continue to constantly grow
Back into myself, the woman I lost along the way

Perhaps if I were brave enough to admit it
Are perhaps even more constant than the rest
